Covers personal injuries caused to people in traffic accidents, includes foreign vehicles that circulate in the national territory and excludes those that are moved by railways and agricultural machinery, is part of the Country’s General System of Social Security in Health from the country. Therefore, both tariffs and coverage are regulated by the National Government.

Coverages

•Transportation expenses and mobilization of the victims to hospital or clinical establishments, preferably in ambulances or vehicles adequately equipped for this type of service, guaranteeing the timely and effective attention of the victim. Up to 10 DMS (Daily Minimum Salaries)
• Medical, surgical, pharmaceutical and hospital expenses Up to 800 DMS (Daily Minimum Salaries)
• Permanent disability up to 180 DMS (Daily Minimum Salaries)
• Compensation for death of the victim, provided that it occurs within one year after the date of the accident 750 DMS (Daily Minimum Salaries)
